Hanna Malak Honored as Finalist in 49ers Community Quarterback Award Program

Former SIBS Camper, Hanna Malak was honored  as a finalist in The San Francisco 49ers Community Quarterback Award Program which recognizes volunteers who demonstrate leadership, dedication, and a commitment to bettering the San Francisco Bay Area.

The list of his contributions to Okizu is immense and we are so grateful for his dedication to the Okizu campers and families. Hanna supports Okizu as a Camp Counselor, Unit Leader, Family Camp Director, Spanish translator, fundraiser, and currently serves as the Secretary on the Board of Directors. 

One Community Quarterback Award Winner will receive $5,000 for his/her nominating organization and be recognized at a 49ers home game.

The winner and finalists will all be recognized during a pre-game, on-field ceremony at Levi’s® Stadium during the 2018 Season. The winners and a representative from their nominating organization will also be invited to attend an exclusive luncheon where they will receive their award from the 49ers Foundation.


Marie Crinnion, a volunteer for over 27 years at Project Open Hand, is the 2018 Community Quarterback winner. Project Open Hand, which provides meals with love to critically ill neighbors and seniors, received a $5,000 donation from the 49ers Foundation.
