Bequests
As a nonprofit organization, Okizu is eligible to accept gifts from wills, trusts and beneficiary designations. Over the years many individuals have made generous gifts for Okizu in their wills. A gift in your will can be a specific monetary amount, a percentage of your trust or estate, a specific piece of property, and/or a residual designation. You may also be able to achieve some current income tax benefits through various planned giving techniques.
As you plan your legacy, please consider Okizu and the families we serve. Please work with your attorney or estate advisors to complete your gift. The following is sample bequest language:
“I hereby give to Okizu, Federal Tax I.D. number 68-0291178, located at 83 Hamilton Drive, Suite 200, Novato, CA 94949 the sum of $___ or ____%) or the residual) of my estate for the benefit of Okizu Foundation, to be used by its Board of Directors as it may deem advisable.”

Combined Federal Campaign
Employees of the U.S. Government can support Okizu through the Combined Federal Campaign, which seeks to promote and support philanthropy among federal civilian, postal, and military donors.
