Under-18 Volunteers
Okizu’s under-18 volunteers fill a variety of different jobs and help to make camp happen. But sadly due to numerous factors such as the COVID-19 pandemic, losing our site at Berry Creek, and various restrictions at our rental camp locations, we will not be running our under-18 programs during the Summer of 2023. This includes the JV and Dishie programs that would run in a traditional summer. We are hopeful that we will be able to resume these programs in the future.
While the under-18 programs will not be running, Okizu still needs plenty of help getting prepared for the summer. While we are currently not able to include under-18 volunteers at our summer programs, we would be happy to meet with any interested under-18 volunteer to get them involved in some other capacity.
