The Young Professionals Council (YPC) of Okizu is a new membership group of young professionals who seek to advance the work and mission of Okizu: to help all members of families affected by childhood cancer to heal through peer support, respite, mentoring, and recreational programs.

YPC offers Bay Area young professionals the opportunity to make a direct and positive impact on their community through leadership, philanthropy, and acts of service

Okizu’s services are unique—we operate the only oncology camp of its kind in Northern California, and are one of only a handful in the entire country of week-long camps specifically for siblings of children with cancer.

YPC is a professional group with three main areas of focus: membership, fundraising, and volunteering.
