100 for 100 Fundraising Campaign

Okizu’s signature peer-to-peer fundraising campaign is back!

Okizu counselors created the 100 for 100 campaign because they love Okizu and wanted to do more for their home away from home.

  • 100 for 100 was created by Okizu volunteers in 2012.
  • More than 160 fundraisers have joined to date, and they have raised more than $200,000!
  • Fundraisers are Okizu counselors, nurses, doctors, campers, and families who want to give back to Okizu and raise awareness during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and beyond.
  • They set goals of $100, $250, $365, $500, $500, $1,000, or more to send kids to Camp Okizu.
  • Start anytime and fundraise through September for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and during Okizu’s annual Matching Gift Challenge. All donations are matched by generous donors, and your impact is TRIPLED! Every dollar you get donated, Okizu gets three and you can get started today – no need to wait until September! There are also great prize incentives for teams and individuals! CLICK HERE TO GET STARTED!

Lobsterfest Benefit

Saturday, October 5, 2019
New England Lobster Market & Eatery, Burlingame, CA

A benefit for Okizu! Lobster feast featuring lobster, jumbo prawns, hot links, corn on the cob, potatoes, artichokes, garlic, onions, sourdough bread, and dessert.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Event is 21+ over only.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Street Parking on Cowan Road. Neighbor lots available. New England Lobster Market & Eatery is approximately miles from the Millbrae Intermodal Station, a nice walk or a short cab/Lyft/Uber ride away.

Is the event Tax Deductible?
Yes, a portion of the dinner is Tax Deductible, you will be sent a letter confirming the tax-deductible amount after the event.  Total amount depends on market-price of Lobster the day of the event.

Is this All You Can Eat?
No, it’s not. While the food is served traditional boil/clam bake style strewn on the table, it works out to be one lobster per person.

What if I am allergic to Shellfish, can I still attend?
Yes, we do have a chicken option, and the vegetables etc, are cooked in a separate pot (however, while all pots are cleaned after every use, a pot may have previously had shellfish cooked in it). Please note in the seating section if you need a chicken dinner.
